- The admission of students to B.E courses right from notification to the selection of candidates is made by the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BPEE), an agency constituted by the J&K State Government. The institution admits only those students whose names figure in the list of selected candidates issued by the Board of Professional Entrance Examination. The management however selects students under the NRI/NRI sponsored/other quota seats as per the regulations prescribed by the AICTE and the State Government.
- Admissions to the MCA programme are made by the Jammu University, based on an entrance test. The institution admits only those students whose names figure in the list of selected candidates issued by the Jammu University. However, some seats are filled in directly by the institute under the Management Quota.
- Admissions to the MBA programme are made on the basis of a group discussion and personal interview conducted by the institute for those candidates who have qualified the Management Aptitude Test (MAT). Some seats are filled in directly by the institute under the Management Quota.

A student is required to fill up an Admission Form prescribed by Model Institute of Engineering & Technology. A Copy of the same is enclosed at the end of the Handbook, which can be purchased from the institute. |
