The MIET Campus has been developed over an area of more than 25 acres or 10 hectares of land situated at a distance of about 13 Kms from Jammu Tawi Railway Station and 9 Kms from the City Bus Stand along old Akhnoor Road, There are many other institutions of learning coming up along this road making it almost an area exclusively set aside for educational purposes. The land area of the campus is endowed with gentle slopes giving the college buildings an elevated look.
Among the college buildings, three main instructional blocks including a separate laboratory and workshop have been completed with more than 14000 Sq.m of built-up area. Model Institute of engineering & Technology Jammu
The college has also installed 75 KVA diesel generator to provide backup electric supply for college functioning in the event of power failure. A deep bore well provides ample quantity of drinking quality water.
A modern College Canteen is functional on the Campus serving hygienic snacks and refreshment and providing an avenue for relaxation for students and staff.
Engineering College in Jammu
A beautiful two way approach road from the Gate Complex up to institutional building has been constructed for smooth vehicular traffic.
A Student Centre offering student-centric facilities and amenities is under construction.
A hostel block and guest house complex is also being planned in the near future.
